DXpedition stamina and endurance…..

This photo is NOT the Intrepid VP8STI/VP8SGI team.

Going to a remote and difficult Dxpedition location requires above average stamina and endurance. Right now, many of the VP8STI/VP8SGI team members are working hard, performing cardio exercises each day in order to improve their physical conditioning.

Our landing on the shore will be very difficult and we will have thousands of pounds of gear to move to our campsite. The average age of our team is 59 years old and we are readying ourselves to do the best job possible.

Normally on a Dxpedition you land, unload and set up and tear down camp once. Because we are activating two separate islands and will repeat all of these tasks at our second island, our stamina and endurance is particularly important.

We have selected and assembled a team of fourteen of the strongest and best operators that we could assemble for VP8STI/VP8SGI. What do you think?
